Travel Thursday is an idea that has recently been introduced on Twitter, and is similar in some ways to Music Monday in that the idea is to share your thoughts about the subject each week. Just as some of us work our way through the alphabet for the music to give some structure, I’ve come up with a list of “prompts” for the weekly travel discussion.
Join in as and when you want to, or when you feel you have something you want to share, either on your own blog or site (post link on Twitter) or by leaving comments on other people’s posts. Of course, these prompts are just suggestions, feel free to talk about whatever aspect of travel takes your fancy. Oh, and why not include links to photos where you can!
So here is the list, I’ll be starting tomorrow with Number 1:

2. The worst/most disappointing place you have visited
3. The best hotel/accommodation you have stayed in
4. The worst hotel/accommodation you have stayed in
5. Your favourite restaurant you have visited
6. Your most enjoyable journey
7. Your most emotional travel experience (positive or negative!)
8. Your funniest travel experience
9. The best business trip you have been on
10. A travel experience involving illness or injury
11. Your saddest / most upsetting travel experience
12. Your most frightening travel experience
13. The most unusual place you’ve spent a night while travelling
14. The place you’ve visited that had the friendliest people
15. Your favourite city you have visited
16. Your favourite view
17. The most memorable meal you have eaten while travelling
18. Your favourite flight or airline
19. Your biggest flight or airline disaster
20. Your most unusual travel experience
21. The most dangerous thing you have done while travelling
22. The most inspiring place you have visited
23. The best pub, bar, club or café you have visited
24. Your best “lost in translation”/ communication breakdown moment
25. The place you would buy a house or retire to if you won the Lottery
